The AgriKey Holistic Farms blueprint creates a Centre of Excellence within the geographic area of operation. This Centre of Excellence supports up to 1000 new learners and entrepreneurs annually, who are trained, skilled, and assisted in starting their own Agri Business within the value chain.

This unique model establishes sustainable commercial entities within the community including micro-farms, food processing and packaging utilities, logistics- and distribution entities, water treatment solutions, green energy implementation, and manufacturing and maintenance businesses.

The Centre of Excellence offers the following services within the local geographic area of implementation:

AgriKey Academy

The AgriKey Academy offers an integrated academic development path that's designed to give students the best possible start in life. We use various international best practice methodologies and accreditation to support students at every stage of their development.

Our Early Childhood Development (ECD) initiatives for ages 3 to 5 support local pre-school centres
Our Foundation Phase Development (FPD) for ages 6 to 9 offers primary school support services and practical tools to the local primary schools
The integrated Multi-Certification curriculums for secondary school pupils allows secondary school pupils to receive exposure to actual industry careers and qualifications.

These programs provide early exposure to commercial business sectors and career paths, helping to prepare students for their future.

All of our initiatives are designed to support higher and better-prepared students for intake within the AgriKey Academy: Institute of Technology, where they can pursue further academic qualifications, diplomas and degrees as well as receive development support within the workplace.

AgriKey Value Chain

AgriKey Value Chain makes it easy for our Agri-Entrepreneurs to access markets by providing manufacturing, processing, packaging, and logistics/distribution services. This includes the establishment and maintenance of national and international off-take agreements, as well as direct wholesaling of all produce.

Processing facilities cater to fresh produce, protein processing, packaging, bottling, canning, refrigeration, and storage. The solution secures and maintains off-take agreements to markets, FMCG entities, wholesale environments, international food security contracts, and small distribution and local vendors. This strategy ensures that farmers can focus on production for delivery on established contracts without worrying about selling their produce after harvest.

AgriKey Farming

AgriKey Farming specialise in controlled environment agriculture solutions and technology to ensure high-quality produce with high yields throughout the year.

We use various agri-tech solutions depending on the produce and environmental requirements including technologies such as Aeroponics, NFT, Hydroponics, and Aquaponics within controlled environments. AgriKey further produce secondary protein through Aquaponics in the form of Tilapia or Catfish.

In addition to providing controlled environment solutions, AgriKey also supports existing farmers in Open / Semi-open / Dryland / Irrigated farming implementations and assist with technology transitions such as micro greenhouses to macro multi-span units of 1hectares or larger.

We also have a unique co-operative chicken farm solution called the "Aero-Micro Battery" which enables the chicken farm to produce 8000 chickens per day through the implementation of 28 micro batteries, a centralized abattoir, and full processing and packaging.

AgriKey Sustainable Environment

The AgriKey Sustainable Environment initiative has a strong focus on self-sufficiency and sustainability on all levels of operation, which includes energy and water solutions.
